Terms of Service
Last updated: 6 November 2026
1. Acceptance
By creating an account or using memBoard (website or mobile app) you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you use memBoard for an association, you confirm you are authorised to do so.
2. The service
memBoard provides tools for association governance and administration: members, committees, meetings, minutes, resolutions, voting, documents and communication. Features may change over time.
memBoard is a record-keeping and workflow tool. It does not give legal advice, and the association is responsible for following its bylaws and applicable law, including the validity of its meetings, votes and resolutions.
3. Accounts
Give accurate information and keep your password and one-time codes private. You are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us promptly about unauthorised use.
Association office-bearers who invite or approve members are responsible for doing so correctly.
4. Acceptable use
Do not break the law, harass others, upload malicious or infringing content, attempt to access another association's data, probe or disrupt the service, or use automated means to scrape it.
Content you post stays your (or your association's) responsibility. We may remove content or suspend accounts that breach these terms.
5. Plans and payment
Associations can use the free plan for up to 30 members. The Pro plan is charged per association at the price shown in the app, plus GST, after any free trial. Payments are processed by our payment provider.
Subscriptions renew for the period chosen until cancelled. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise. We will give notice before changing prices.
6. Your data
Your association owns the records it puts into memBoard. You give us permission to store, process and display them to operate the service. You can export association data using the export features available to your role.
7. Availability and warranty
We work to keep memBoard available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. The service is provided "as is" to the extent permitted by law.
8. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for decisions an association makes using its records. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees paid for the service in the 12 months before the claim.
9. Termination
You may stop using memBoard or delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access for serious or repeated breaches of these terms.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in India have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer rights you have.
11. Changes
We may update these terms. Continued use after an update means you accept it. The date at the top shows the latest version.
